Lanterns for Peace Annual Commemoration of the Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

You are invited to join the annual Lanterns for Peace Hiroshima-Nagasaki Commemoration event. This year’s event will include Japanese lantern making, a reading of “Sadako and the 1000 Paper Cranes”, live music, a tribute to the late Daniel Ellsberg, and the story of the Golden Rule – the peace sailboat that helped bring about the end of nuclear weapons testing.

Meeting Point:
Lincoln Park Picnic Areas 3 and 4 (Just north of Hampton Ave, and northwest of Lincoln Park Pavilion on Milwaukee River Parkway)
