At 1 PM, we will assemble at Senator Casey’s office, 2000 Market St and deliver demands that he
- Support and vote for the Van Hollen Amendment to Biden’s supplemental request to Israel and Ukraine holding countries that get US weapons to humanitarian rights. (Including Israel, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia etc.)
- Support and vote for Senator Sanders’ bill using section 502B(c) of the Foreign Assistance Act calling for an administration report on Israel’s use of US weapons, which could trigger a vote to STOP arms transfers to Israel until they comply with US humanitarian law.
- Support the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. This would, of course, include Israel’s nuclear weapons.
We then plan to march over the office of the Development Corporation of Israel to call for boycotting investments in Israel until they agree to:
- a ceasefire in Gaza, the West Bank and with Hezbollah,
- increased humanitarian aid and
- to leave the occupied territories and negotiate with the Palestinian people for a free Palestinian state.
