Say No to Minuteman III ICBM test launch Vandenberg Sept. 5th

Protest the planned test launch of a Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. The protest will be at the Santa Maria gate of Vandenberg Space Force base in Lompoc California.  The ICBM with a dummy warhead will land in the Marshall Islands, at a US test range in the Marshall Islands.  In the 1950s and 60s the US exploded 67 hydrogen bombs in the Marshall Islands.

The time of the protest is 11:30 pm September 5th, which is the start of the launch window for the Minuteman III ICBM test.  Note this is at night right before midnight. The protest will end 12:00 am on September 6 ( 30 mins).  The base allows parking for peace protesters at Vandenberg Middle school parking lot.  For more details call 831 204 0031.  The protest is sponsored by the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom and the California chapter of World BEYOND War.
