Vigil and Tabling with Tri-Valley CAREs in Livermore, CA

Tri-Valley CAREs will be holding a vigil and tabling at Livermorium Plaza in downtown Livermore, CA (at the corner of S. Livermore Ave. and First St.) On Tuesday, June 11 from 4-6pm. We will be across from Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC’s corporate offices.

Daniel Ellsberg was arrested many times protesting at the gates of Livermore Lab, where nuclear warheads are designed, studied and maintained. He was a vocal advocate against the new Sentinel missile program, the warhead for which (the W87-1) is being designed at Livermore Lab.

We will be talking to people, handing out fliers about the Sentinel and about the August Hiroshima day action at the gates of the Lab where Patricia Ellsberg will speak.
