On the one-year anniversary of the tragic war in Ukraine we will be gathering by the keyhole, outside CoMo City Hall, to say it’s time to end the slaughter. It’s time for a ceasefire and negotiations. War will not bring peace. War enriches the few and brings sorrow to loved ones in both Ukraine and Russia. Too many have died already, and this war is more dangerous than most, as it could escalate into a nuclear conflict.
Please join us in making peace visible here in CoMo. This event is organized by Mid-Missouri Peaceworks with the co-sponsorship of the Mid-Missouri Fellowship of Reconciliation and the Charlie Atkins Chapter of Veterans for Peace. Please share this with friends and please bring friends with you, if you can.
We plan to visit our Congressional offices immediately following the demo and meet with their staff to share our concerns.
